Limited availability

Only about 5% of the total production of Akoya pearls reaches Hanadama quality, which is why their availability in the market is limited. 

Quality certification

Every pearl that bears the Hanadama label is certified by the Pearl Science Laboratory in Tokyo. This independent assessment ensures that the pearls have reached the highest standards in each category, such as luster, surface, and pearl strength. Size-wise, these pearls most often range between 7-9 mm.
