Akoya pearls

Akoya pearls grow in seawater in Pinctada Fucata oysters. They are the most popular marine pearls in sizes up to 10 mm. The beautiful luster, colors (white, cream, pinkish, silver) and regular shape are redeemed by the higher price of the pearls. However, thanks to their high quality and overall elegance, they literally shine on a woman's body. 

High-quality Akoya pearls are cultivated mainly in Japan, but there are also lower-quality pearls of this type on the market from China and Vietnam.
